Egrets Flowers & More

Blackberry Lily (I.D. courtesy of Peter May)

I have to admit that this is my favorite shot taken at Reynolda. It shows buds in different stages of development, and suggests that the old blooms seem to form "spirals" as they wither. And I was even lucky enough to get a little bug of some sort on the flower at the left. Canon 100 mm Macro, ISO 100, f/11, 1/15 second, Center-Weighted Metering, no EV bias, Tripod mounted.
