This image is from an interesting series I took where these birds passed the leaf (in the beak of the adult on the right) from one to the other, including the chick. This reminded me of a similar behavior I saw in Costa Rica last June, when a pair of Red-rumped Tanagers similarly passed a leaf from one to the other.
