I had seen a number of these birds on previous trips, but didn't have any satisfactory images, so I was quite happy to see them frequently coming to the feeders. They were definitely the "bullies," because of their much larger size, and we often had to wait for them to clear out before some of the smaller, more timid birds would return. One of my goals for the next trip down there is to get decent images of this species in flight - the yellow tail is just spectacular as you see them streaking across the sky.
