This was my 2nd boat trip on the Tarcoles River, and I included this in the itinerary because it was so successful this past December. Once again, we had a great experience, with many different species to see and shoot, often in fairly good light. This Amazon Kingfisher was spotted soon after we left the dock, perching nicely on a large branch sticking out of the water.
