This was taken at a beach near where we started our Tarcoles River boat trip, and this is the 3rd trip that I've visited this location. We go there from mid-afternoon to sunset, and we have been consistently successful finding a number of Scarlet Macaws feeding in the trees. While waiting for them to come within view, I was able to get a few shots of this Crested Caracara as it flew overhead once or twice.
