There are bird feeders set out behind the dining area at the Arenal Observatory Lodge, which usually attracts a wide number and variety of bird species. Greg had attached a few natural branch perches to the feeders, to get a more natural setting, and to optimize the background. As I mentioned elsewhere, the feeders were unusually quiet, although there were a few quality photo opportunities. During the time I was shooting this particular morning, this is the only bird I saw that used this perch, but it did yield one good image!
