We left the Savegre Lodge, en route to the Las Cruces Biological Station, and Marco indicated we'd be going through an area where we might see some of these beautiful birds, and he was right! We parked the bus, and spent a half-hour or so watching and shooting these Flycatchers. They were typically high up and fair away, making this challenging! I got excited when I spotted this one perched in a different location, with fairly good light, and a wonderful background, and I took a quick burst of shots before it took off.
