The sun was still too low to light up some of the perches, but other areas were quite bright.  While I normally shoot in Manual Exposure mode, I decided to try working in Aperture Priority, as the areas where I would be shooting would have very different brightness levels, and I would likely miss shots trying to readjust my settings.
