The night before, a white screen was set up, with lights, a little ways into the woods near the Lodge. The idea was to attract a lot of bugs, which in turn would get the attention of birds the following morning. So we were up bright and early (well, early anyway, not sure about the 'bright'), and the birds arrived to get their meal. Shooting was difficult, given how dark it was, and flash was pretty much mandatory. Every once in a while, the secretive birds would venture out into the open, as this Male Ant Tanager did here.
