This image was taken just before dawn, on our way into Monument Valley, with Fred Cly as our guide. It promised a beautiful morning of shooting, but it was not to be. Once we got into the Valley, dense fog developed, and there was no landscape shooting to be done. Fred did take us, however, to see and shoot the various Petroglyphs that are present, and he provided a very colorful history of his own family and the region.
