Florida, 2008

I haven't done as much traveling and shooting in the past year, and was very anxious to get back out in the field once again. We decided to keep logistics simple, and got in our car and drove down to several areas along the eastern Flordia coast. The main locations included Merritt Island NWR (near Titusville), Wakodahatchee Wetlands (near Delray Beach), and the Anhinga Trail in the Everglades (Florida City area). We were a bit disappointed in the variety of species encountered, but as I've often said, the worst day out in the field is still better than the best day in the office!
