I spotted a number of Pied-billed Grebes, and with nothing much else to shoot, made myself comfortable on the ground, lowered my tripod accordingly, and started shooting. After a few minutes, one of the Grebes came up with a fairly large sculpin of some type. I continued to shoot him over the next 20 minutes or so, as he attempted to get it down. This is the first shot of a series of 3 that I'm including here, showing it thrashing the sculpin about the water.
