There were quite a few people shooting an Osprey that was posing quite nicely along the loop, but after all the images we took at Blue Cypress Lake, we passed this opportunity by. This was a good choice, as a little ways down the road, we were the first to spot this beautiful Raptor perched nicely on some bare branches, with mostly blue sky behind him. We quietly got out of the car and set up, as quickly as possible. We were able to get a nice series of images, with this being my favorite. I had to set up literally in the middle of the road to get the angle I wanted.
