Galapagos is perhaps best known in connection with Darwin's study of the finches, which contributed to his understanding of the process of natural selection. While the variety of finches on the islands is of great scientific interest, I must confess that I found them a bit lacking in terms of photographic interest. We saw finches almost everywhere, although I didn't shoot them very much. But I couldn't in good conscience post images from the Galapagos Islands without including at least one finch image!
