Yet another endemic species, we encountered this interesting birds during the latter part of the trip, when the weather conditions weren't quite as cooperative. The light was very poor, flash photography was not allowed, and combined with the somewhat drab coloring of these birds, and that of their surroundings, this didn't make for very dramatic images. But I include one here despite the shortcomings of the photo, because of the unique interest of this species.
