There are several different species of lava lizards, and presumably this is a different one from the other 2 individuals represented in this collection. The 100-400 zoom was my primary lens for this trip, and probably more than 80-90% of my shots were taken with it. But I did pull out the 100 mm Macro lens at times, which is what I used in this shot. I had to approach pretty slowly, as these lizards were pretty 'skittish' but I was able to get pretty close for this photo.
