We had spotted an albatross chick, and I was moving into a better position to take a few photos, when this adult albatross abruptly flew right towards me. I quickly snapped a couple of frames as it quickly moved past me. This is a full-frame, un-cropped image, and you can get a feel for the pattern in its breast feathers which forms the basis for its name.
