Welcome to the Website of DLC Photography.
I started building this site in February 2001, as an outgrowth of my passion for Nature Photography. My goal is to share my favorite images and provide helpful technical information on digital photography in general, with reference to Canon's digital SLR cameras in particular (D30, 1D and 1D Mark II). Ultimate Costa Rica Photo Safari Rescheduled: **May 30 - June 9, 2008** Details on this itinerary, which is based on the best experiences we've had in 5 previous trips, with other features designed to take it "to the next level," can be found here. It should be the best one yet! Update: Registration is closed. Trips for 2009 likely in March and June. Email if interested.
Brazil's Pantanal Photo Expedition Now Official: **Nov. 1 - 10, 2008** I will be working with International Expeditions on this trip. They are one of the largest and most reputable international tourism agencies. Email me if you have interest or questions. Additional details available here. Update: Trip full as of March 3, 2008. Waiting list available.
New Images: Florida, 2008: I took a driving tour along the Florida coast at the end of February, and have posted a small collection of images from this trip here.
New Online Photography Forum: I am now functioning as a Moderator of the Wildlife and Landscape/Travel Forums at the newly opened Open Photography Forums. A very talented and impressive group of photographers are behind this site, and it will be a great source of intelligent discussion of a wide variety of photography topics.
