Welcome to the Website of DLC Photography.
I started building this site in February 2001, as an outgrowth of my passion for Nature Photography. My goal is to share my favorite images and provide helpful technical information on nature and digital photography in general. In addition, Photography Workshops to a variety of exotic locations are now available. You can use the Navigation Bar above to quickly access the various areas of this site.

Costa Rica Photo Workshop, April 27 - May 7, 2012 - arrangements for my next adventure in Costa Rica have been finalized. We will be visiting both the Caribbean and Pacific Coasts, as well as inland locations. It will include several river trips, and several days at a new location, the Rancho Naturalista, world-famous for its birding. Details on this trip can be found here. As with all my trips, this will be a small group, limited to a maximum of 10 participants, so reserve your spot early. Update: this trip is now full. Images from a May, 2011 trip to South Carolina are now online. My wife and I headed down to Huntington Beach State Park, and the natural rookery behind the Waccatee Zoo, where we had good opportunity for flight shots, and my first sighting and shooting of a Painted Bunting. Click here.

YouTube Videos: I have recently begun to do some work using High Definition Video, and have created a YouTube Channel here. Included are two videos taken during the November 2008 Workshop to Brazil. I have also posted one, which uses images from all of my Costa Rica trips since 2004 - here.
