Slant-Faced Grasshopper (Family Acrididae, Subfamily Acridinae) (ID Courtesy of Peter May)

My family and I took a quick day-trip to the Blue Ridge mountains (Moses Cone Park), and walking through the woods, found this fairly small (about 1/2") grasshopper. Canon 100 Macro Lens, ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/400 second. In retrospect, I should have made the aperture a bit smaller and increased my depth of field a little more.
