As we found at the other locations during this trip, the water levels at Bombay Hook were pretty low, which definitely put a damper on photo opportunities. In the exploring we did there, there was really only one area (Bear Swamp Pond) where there was any significant presence of birds. I spent several hours at dawn the mornings we were there, and while it was again peaceful and very enjoyable, there wasn't a whole lot to shoot. And what was there was often too far to get adequate images. I saw a small number of Glossy Ibis, which I really like (and of which I have very few acceptable images), and was glad to be able to get a few more photos of this beautiful species.
