We really got lucky, and had this mother feeding her chick, and we had a reasonably unobstructed view. They were still fairly far away, but within reach of my equipment, requiring just a little bit of cropping. She really must have had a belly-full, as this feeding went on for quite a while. It was amazing how far the chick put its beak up the mother's throat!
