We heard that Oxbow Bend would be one of the better places in Grand Teton for wildlife, so were in position to shoot at dawn one of the first mornings of this trip. The clouds and sun didn't cooperate, however. This would be a typical occurrence on this trip, unfortunately. We did have many opportunities to see and shoot wildlife (and landscapes), but only rarely had decent light. In this shot, the Coyote quietly appeared, and being somewhat far away, in very dim light, I had to shoot at ISO 3200 (!), leave the lens/tele combo wide-open, and try and get by with a too-long shutter speed for this combination.
