As I mentioned earlier, Eric Diller was kind enough to tell us about this Bald Eagle nest, which interestingly enough, was right in the middle of a Graveyard north of Orland, FL. It seemed like an odd location to be doing bird photography, but you just have to go where the birds are! We only had a couple of hours to spend there, and there wasn't a whole lot of activity, but we were able to get some shots. The parent above had just returned to the nest, carrying what looked like an American Coot to feed the rather large pair of Juveniles. This shot was taken right before it once again left the nest. If you look carefully, you can see a bit of blood from the Coot on the Eagle's beak.
