Nest-building was in full swing for the Great Blue Herons.  One adult would leave the nest, and return later with a branch.  It would land, and then pass the branch off to its mate, who would then place it to build up the nest.  There were a number of photographers lined up to shoot this behavior, and it was interesting to hear the 'machine-gun' like sound from all the camera's shutters each time this took place.
