We were driving on the road from Anhinga Trail, going down to Flamingo, where we had an afternoon boat trip scheduled.  I spotted this hawk up in a tree, with a beautiful blue sky background, and we carefully parked not too far away, and tried to quietly get out our tripods and cameras.  We set up near the car and took a number of shots, but this wasn't the best position for the light.  So we slowly crossed the street, and set up where the light was more favorable.  He perched for quite a while letting us take plenty of shots before finally taking off.
