We arrived at the Viera Wetlands at dawn the next day, and having learned about a pair of Hooded Mergansers when speaking with some other photographers the day before, we were hopeful to find and photograph them.  We did locate the pair, but the dawn was pretty cloudy, with little sun or "magical" light.  But we hung around for a while, and the clouds gradually cleared, and we were able to get some decent shots of them.
