We took a fun trip recently (April 20-22, 2001), to Gatlinburg, TN. We were dropping my daughter Tessa off for a week-end of horseback riding in the mountains of western North Carolina, and thought we'd continue on to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

It was beautiful clear Spring weather, and we enjoyed some time hiking in the Smokies, as well as some of the tourist activities in the Gatlinburg area: the Ripley's Aquarium and the 'Forbidden Caverns.'
