This is a trip we have been planning and looking forward to for many months. My 50th birthday was in March, and this was my present - a fantastic opportunity to go places I had never been before, and take pictures using all the gear I've accumulated in the last few months. My daughter Emily graduated from BYU in Provo, Utah on April 27th, and my wife and I then headed to southern Utah and Northern Arizona for the next 8 days.

This is the first of probably 2 or 3 more Galleries. The others will include shots from Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon, the Grand Canyon and Sedona, AZ. I found out that good landscape photography is a lot harder than it would seem from some of the wonderful work I've seen in stores and on the web. But I learned a lot, and had a great time doing it.
