This was taken during a morning hike at the Carara National Park on the Pacific coast. It perched on a branch high up along the middle of the path, and briefly had some sun light up its head. Typically I don't carry the 600L on these hikes, as its too heavy, hot and humid, and with my wife using the 100-400, I shot with the 70-200. Even with the 2x, I had to significantly crop this image to get the bird a decent size in the frame.
