After shooting the Montezume Oropendola flying behind the Smithsonian building, a few of us started heading back to our rooms.  But as we came around the side of the building, we noticed some very large birds moving around within some trees nearby.  We carefully approached and found a whole family of Plain Chachalaca deep within the tree's branches.  It was extremely difficult to find any unobstructed view, but as I moved around the tree, I located a very narrow 'tunnel' of clearing through which I took this shot.
