There were several Rookery areas at Harris Neck, although most of them were quite a distance away, with no option to get closer.  But right near the close shore where we were talking, we spotted a Carolina Chickadee poking his beak outside a hole in a bare tree.  We took a few shots there, and it then was nice enough to pose on the top of a nearby tree.
