We made 4 trips in 2008: Florida in February, Lake Marian in SC in May, the "Ultimate Costa Rica Workshop" in June, and then my first trip with International Expeditions, to Brazil, in November.  The Costa Rica itinerary was all we hoped for, and we enjoyed seeing both the Caribbean and Pacific coasts, as well as having a great experience at Arenal.  The Brazil trip was spectacular, with the majority of our time spent in the Pantanal, the largest wetlands in the world, followed by a couple of days at Iguaçu Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the world.  We had a great time on all of them, and were very fortunate to see a wide variety of birds and wildlife.
