This was one of the parents of the pair of Owl Chicks that Keith Arndt had told us about. It was asleep, well in the shadows for much of the time we were there, but hopped to a branch in a somewhat more exposed and accessible area, allowing this shot. It was still quite shadowed, and I had to aggressively use the Shadows and Highlights tool to salvage anything from it.
