We visited a number of Indian Ruins at Canyon de Chelly. This shot was taken from one of the overlooks accessible by the drive along one of the rims. We were struck by how hard it was to visualize the size and scale of these ruins, as they seemed like toy or model formations. We were looking at it from such a distance that the true size was difficult to visualize, let alone how these dwellings could have been built and lived in.
