New Zealand

This collection basically contains everything other than birds. I probably should have devoted more time and energy to photographing the incredible landscape we saw as we traveled around the South Island, but if we stopped to shoot every time we saw something beautiful, we wouldn't have gotten very far! As I mentioned in the beginning, even 2 or 3 weeks is really not even close to being enough to do justice to the beauty and diversity of New Zealand. So I focused on the wildlife, and took scenic shots as time allowed.

One of the most exciting parts of the trip was the "Heli-hike" which I'll be describing in the naratives that accompany the images, but suffice it to say that fog once again returned, making this a more interesting trip than we had anticipated.
